18 Buddha Hands Qigong 6-week Series at Hand to Hand Kajukenbo

Six-week 18 Buddha Hands Qigong series starting on January 12th, taught by Robin Rosario (PAWMA Camp 2012 instructor).

Qigong is an ancient mind body practice rooted in the principles of Chinese Medicine. The subtle nuances of the practice reveals itself in time. Qigong is ever changing as we are ever changing.

In this class we will explore the following while learning the 18 sections of Buddha Hands:

  • Integrate breath, movement and intention
  • Increase awareness of body posture and alignment
  • Recognize habitual holding/gripping patterns
  • Use the entirety of a movement
  • Learn to relax without collapsing
  • Explore softening the musculature and fascia

Clothing:
Wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely. Only non-street shoes allowed. Please wear shoes that are specifically for indoor workouts and have not been worn on the street.

Cost:
$15.00 per single class
$75.00 for the series
