Work-Study Grant Application
PAWMA offers work-study grants of up to $150 to members
in good standing. Recipients will be expected to work up to four hours during
the camp, helping with tasks such as set-up and clean up for events, registration, hospitality, etc. We will also
consider proposals of other ways you might be able to contribute to PAWMA in
exchange for a work-study grant, or just tell us about any skills that you have
and we will try to match them to ongoing projects. PAWMA depends on
volunteers like you to make camp successful.
Work-study positions are offered at the discretion of the
PAWMA board and are funded by donations to our scholarship foundation. The
amount offered will be based on the strength of your application (explanation
of need and how the discount will benefit you and your community) and available
funds.
Maximum grant amounts available:
- Adult camp $150
- Youth camp $100
- Commuter $100
Apply early, because there are limited funds available.
Please allow at least ten days for review of your request. Grant recipients
will be provided a code to enter on the online registration form which will
automatically reduce the fees.
